What Happens When QuickBooks Desktop 2022 Is Discontinued?
After May 31, 2025, you will no longer have access to connected services through QuickBooks Desktop 2022.
These services include:
- QuickBooks Desktop Payroll
- Desktop Payments
- Live technical support
- Online Backup
- Online Banking
- Other integrated QuickBooks services
In addition, beginning June 1, 2025, you will no longer receive critical security updates designed to protect your financial data. Continuing to use the software without updates may increase security and compliance risks.
